How Do I Change The Password On My Frontier Wifi
Howdy Fedup0099
A WiFi password is assail your router, not in Windows, because all devices that log into the WiFi must use the same password . . .
1.
In the back or bottom of your Router is a sticker with a UserName, Password and IP address (something like 192.168.0.1) printed on it
Note those downwardly
Go to your PC and open a Web Browser
In the address type the IP accost and hitting Enter
That will bring up your routers configuration page
Somewhere on that folio yous volition notice WAN settings
Before you lot can alter that, you will demand to enter the UserName and Password you lot noted down from that sticker on the router
2.
If you lot practise e'er demand Windows to forget a WiFi network:
Open up a Command Prompt window every bit Administrator
Run this command (supersede NetworkName with the actual name of the network)
netsh wlan delete profile name="NetworkName"

How-do-you-do Fedup0099
Okay, here is a routine I created a while back for security purposes, this will work for y'all . . .
Plough off the WiFi on your PC temporarily
Perform option 2 in a higher place again
Then on your Desktop, right click and choose new - Text Document
Paste the text at the bottom of this post into that document
And then choose file Salve As
On the Save Every bit Dialog, at the bottom gear up file type to All Files *.*
Salve that file as Articulate Networks.reg
Note - your will have to manually add the .reg file extension
Then right click that file and choose 'Merge' and confirm the merge
Restart your PC and Windows will have forgotten that network and its password!
